Ever find yourself scrolling relentlessly through channels, movies, or recommendations from your streaming services, not knowing what to watch? Or do you need something new after watching your favorite show for the 10th time from beginning to end?
Feeling lost in the endless options of what to watch? You're not alone. Many of us struggle to pinpoint our interests. But fear not; we've got some tips to help you break free from this loop and find the perfect show or movie for tonight or even now.
How Do You Feel?
Your emotions can significantly influence what you decide to watch. If you are feeling down, you might want something to cheer you up, or if you're feeling morose, you might want something to replicate your mood and embrace those feelings. If nothing else, how you feel can rule out many genres of films or TV shows.
Do You Want to Be Entertained?
Answering yes isn't going to cause Robbie Williams to come busting through the TV singing "Let Me Entertain You" unless you put on a music channel that is playing his song. However, not everyone wants to be entertained all the time. Sometimes, you want something that will engage your brain, make you think, educate you, or do something else entirely. While film and TV are excellent ways to keep you entertained, there is so much more on TV than entertainment. You might fancy watching a documentary on people like Clive Davis; you might find sports hits the spot, and reality TV you can dip in and out of could better figure out what you want from what you watch and narrow down your choices that way.
Time
Remember, your viewing choices should fit your schedule, not the other way around. If you only have 30 minutes or an hour, look for something that fits this timeframe. Don't feel pressured to commit to a movie when you're short on time. Your viewing experience should be satisfying, not rushed. So, take control of your choices, and don't let doom scrolling eat into your time.
Take a Chance
Take a chance at something new because the worst thing that happens is you get bored and turn it off. But you never know; you might find you actually love it, and you have found something new to sink your teeth into. A great way to find something new is to look for new releases, don’t think about it, click watch, and get on with it. If you don't like it, you've lost nothing, but if you do, then you can settle down, get comfy, and immerse yourself in your choice.
Pick a Star
If you can't trust your decision-making, how about trusting your favorite star instead? Find something they are in and watch it. You know you like them, and chances are you will more than likely enjoy anything they're in for the most part. So pick someone you are a fan of, choose what to watch based on their presence, and off you go. Alternatively, pick a director whose work you like and look up other shows or features by them to watch.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5 STAR REVIEW⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“I used this lesson with my eighth grade business finance class. Great real world examples.” /Laurie P./
Rating: 5/5 (extremely satisfied)
Today I am so honored and humbled to share a new 5 star review on one of the resources in the shop! This Analyzing Classroom Activity and Answer Key resource has been a long time favorite in the shop! You can find it HERE!
Thank you so much Laurie for the amazing review!! I am so thankful it was so helpful! If you are looking for a well organized and an easy to use credit card activity and answer key check out this resource today! Comment "credit cards" and I will send you a direct link! Make this busy time of year easy for you!
When I first started teaching personal finance I wasn't even sure where to begin and lots of the materials that are available that can be found (which are extremely limited) seem out of date and very boring. Creating these resources for my students helped bring this material alive in new ways and these activities will help be a foundation for your unit also!
*Word Document Contains 6 pages (3 for student copy/ 3 for teacher including answer key) to help students learn how to analyze a credit card statement. Using a pretend credit card statement (seen in the pictures) this worksheet includes 10 questions to help students practically examine a credit card statement. This would be perfect for a personal finance class. This will work perfectly with the Semester Finance Bundle or any of the Personal Finance Resource section, specifically the Credit Card/Personal Loan/Bankruptcy Unit Bundle (HERE).
This activity/assignment is specifically helpful if you are wanting dive deeper into this financial aspect of credit cards, need a substitute filler around this time period or a way to sensitively introduce the concept of credit card debt for a later unit. However you are using this- this will be a way to help students (and their families!) think about this subject in new ways and help this come alive for your students. This resource will help bring creative engagement to your lectures!

Happy Monday friends! I hope you have a wonderful day!
If you've ever found yourself delaying a visit to a doctor or health professional due to something embarrassing, rest assured, you're not alone. Many individuals, just like you, have certain health concerns they feel uncomfortable discussing, even with medical professionals.
However, it's important to remember that overcoming this embarrassment can lead to a significant improvement in your quality of life. Seeking treatment means you're taking steps to resolve your health issue. But how can you move past what is holding you back and get the treatment you need to boost your health?
Online Options
One way to get the help you need is to consult with an online doctor or pharmacist. You can do this by scheduling a virtual appointment or sending a message through a secure platform. They can advise you on a wide range of health issues and even issue a prescription if necessary, which you can fulfill at a reputable, cheap online pharmacy. This method allows you to receive care and treatment while maintaining your privacy and avoiding face-to-face interactions.
Write It Down
If you feel you will struggle to get the words out or discuss what is wrong with your doctor, you can write things down for them to read. Be as descriptive as you can and detail everything you feel you might not be able to say out loud. From here, your doctor can take control of the conversation and guide you to a suitable resolution.
Tell Your Doctor
Simply telling your doctor you are embarrassed can open up the conversation. As doctors, they are accustomed to dealing with a wide range of complex health conditions, and embarrassing topics are part and parcel of the job. They will not be shocked or want to make you feel worse than you already do. So, allowing them to understand how you are feeling can mean they can get to the bottom of things with you without making you feel worse than you already do.
Choose A Doctor You Trust
If possible, wait until you can get an appointment with your preferred doctor to talk to them about your health condition or situation. The more comfortable you feel about who you are talking to, the easier it will be to open up about your health. This is paramount, especially if you are putting things off or feel massively concerned about revealing what you are living with. Remember, they are there to help but can only help if you confide in them.
Bring Someone With You
If you really do feel comfortable at all or you need moral support, take someone with you you can confide in and who can help you discuss the topic at hand. It is irrelevant to be told not to feel embarrassed that doesn’t help anyone, but another person who doesn't feel embarrassed and will support you can be a great help in getting the treatment you need and uncovering your path back to full help. They can take control of the conversation with your permission and answer questions as needed.

A job interview is one of those moments where you want to be at your absolute best. It’s the first time your potential employer gets to see you in action, and whether you land the job or not often depends on how you present yourself. It’s not just about what you say. It’s about how you dress, how you carry yourself and even how you handle the small talk before the real questions start rolling in. If you’re looking to make a killer first impression, here’s everything you need to know
https://www.pexels.com/photo/woman-in-a-job-interview-4344878/
Dress the Part
The way you dress is the first thing people notice about you. You don’t want to be the person who walks into the room looking like they just rolled out of bed, but at the same time, you don’t want to go overboard and look like you’re trying too hard. Stick with something professional yet comfortable. If you’re going for a corporate job, a well-fitted suit is the way to go. If it’s a more casual workplace, smart business casual will do the trick.
Make sure your clothes are clean and wrinkle-free. Shoes should be polished, and whatever you do, don’t forget deodorant. The last thing you want is for your interviewer to remember you for the wrong reasons.
Accessorise!
Little details can elevate your look and make you seem more polished. A watch, a neat pair of earrings or a classic necklace can subtly show that you put effort into your appearance. Keep it simple though. You don’t want to be jingling every time you move your hand or have something so flashy that it distracts from what you’re saying. The goal is to look put together, not like you’re heading to a red carpet event.
Be on Time
If there’s one thing that can ruin your first impression instantly, it’s showing up late. Even if you have the best excuse in the world, all your interviewer will see is someone who didn’t plan ahead. Give yourself extra time to get there. If your interview is at 10, aim to be in the area by 9:30. That way, even if something unexpected happens, you’ve got a buffer. And, if for some unavoidable reason you are running late, call ahead. A quick, polite heads-up is far better than strolling in twenty minutes late with a long-winded excuse.
Be Confident
First impressions are formed within seconds, and your greeting plays a huge role in that. Walk in with your head up, make eye contact and give a firm handshake. Nobody likes a limp handshake, and nobody enjoys an overly aggressive one either. Find a balance. When you introduce yourself, speak clearly and with a bit of energy. It shows enthusiasm, which is always a plus.
Work on Your Body Language
You can say all the right things, but if your body language is off, it won’t matter. Slouching makes you look uninterested. Crossing your arms can make you seem closed off. Fidgeting too much makes you look nervous. The best thing to do? Sit up straight, lean in slightly when the interviewer is speaking and keep your hands relaxed. If you naturally talk with your hands, that’s fine, just don’t let them go wild.
Be Ready for Small Talk
Most interviews start with a bit of casual conversation before the real questions begin. This is your chance to warm up and show a bit of personality. If they ask how your day has been, don’t just say, “Good.” Add something like, “Pretty good! I got here early, so I had time to grab a coffee from that place down the street. Have you been there?” Something small like that keeps the conversation flowing naturally.
If they bring up the weather or recent events, go along with it. Avoid controversial topics, though. This isn’t the time to start a heated debate about politics or anything that could get awkward fast.
Be Prepared Without Sounding Scripted
There’s a fine line between being prepared and sounding like you’ve rehearsed every word. You should absolutely know common interview questions and have an idea of how you’ll answer them. But don’t just memorize responses. Instead, have key points in mind so you can answer naturally. If you get a question you weren’t expecting, take a second to think before answering. A short pause is better than blurting out something just to fill the silence.
Show Genuine Interest
If you want to make a great impression, show that you actually care about the job. Do your research on the company beforehand. Know what they do, who their competitors are and any recent news about them. If they ask why you want to work there, have a real answer. Saying, “I just need a job” isn’t going to cut it.
When they tell you about the role, engage with what they’re saying. Nod, react appropriately and ask follow-up questions. If they mention a challenge they’ve been facing, ask how they’re working to solve it. This makes it clear that you’re not just there to get through the interview but are genuinely interested in the company and what they do.
Have Questions Ready
At the end of most interviews, they’ll ask if you have any questions. Saying “No, I think you covered everything” makes you seem uninterested. Have a couple of thoughtful questions lined up. Ask about team dynamics, company culture or what success looks like in the role. If you’re feeling bold, ask the interviewer what they personally enjoy about working there. This can give you valuable insight and also make you more memorable.
Interviews can be nerve wracking, but by preparing well for it, you should do just fine. If there’s one piece of advice that might help, it’s to remember that your interviewer is human too! Take your time with answering questions, and don’t be afraid to ask questions about the job. After all, an interview isn’t just to see if you’re the right candidate - it’s also to see if the job is right for you too!
