Happy Tuesday friends! I hope your week is going well! I was overwhelmed by the excitement from my post last week all about Creative Reuse shops and reviewing these places! I am so excited that y'all are so excited about this series! These stores are truly a treasure trove for artists, teachers, creators, homeschool and creative mamas, and anyone who loves to create. If you would like to know just basic facts about the this shop please just scroll down to the bottom of the post where I will be sharing basic information to help those who want to know more specifics about each of the creative reuse shops and some tips from each store!
I wanted to share a quick review of our very first experience with one of these shops- and it was the Lancaster Creative Reuse Shop. We discovered this store during our trip to Lancaster in December 2022. Mom and I love thrifting and as we were researching for the trip a few places to try, we came across the Lancaster Creative Reuse store. Immediately we were intrigued and it was such a fun and amazing experience!

This store (so far) has remained one of our favorites- the amount of items in the shop, the prices were fair and incredible, and the amount of treasures in there have made it a favorite to visit. The people running the shop are friendly and so much fun which make it a really delightful experience. This experience was truly like a thrift store experience: digging for treasures we had the absolute best time!

We have been back several times and it remains so far our favorite shop!! I honestly believe that Lancaster Creative Reuse set a HIGH bar for all of our experiences!
BUT this review is going to be a bit short because this past year, Lancaster Creative Reuse moved! The pictures above are from the old shop and we have a trip heading there in the next few months so I plan to do an updated post with new pictures all about our experience! I can't wait to share with y'all more about this so stay tuned for an update in the fall!

While there are numerous creative reuse shops in Pennsylvania, this shop is truly a thrift store experience with all of the craft items one could ever imagine in it.
COST:
Compared to other shops we have tried and visited, the prices have been fair and truly affordable for those who are looking for items.
PARKING:

CROWDED?:
We have been a few different times throughout the year and it has truly depended. I would say that the first hour was the busiest but then it waned out and was more consistent throughout the day.
DISABILITY FRIENDY?:
The old shop would have been a bit difficult to navigate with a wheelchair, but I will update when we visit the new shop.
