Happy Wednesday friends! I am excited to join in on the What's Up Wednesday posts again this month!

If you are like me then I truly am literally in shock that it is the end of July!! It seems that the summer months just fly at the cabin. It has just been a whirlwind. Last night I was talking with my mom and we were saying we couldn't believe how fast these days are going. Please slow down summer, we are truly enjoying you! We still have a lot of time, but I am looking forward to lots more time at the cabin and on the shore.

July started off very rough for me as I said goodbye to this precious one who made me a fur mama 16 years ago. To be honest, I am still grieving and it is such a huge hole in our hearts. Thank you again so much for all of your prayers, sweet messages, and thoughts... loosing an animal that has been part of your family for so long... it has been difficult.

What We're Eating this Month...

What I'm Loving...

Early mornings at the cabin...

I shared this on instagram earlier this month ...Morning light in the corner of the 1901 camp… shining in through vintage window glass… reminding me of the generations who have sat in this space, clinging to the truth of the Lord caring and watching over us and knowing the generational stories of care and provision…a gentle and encouraging reminder this morning.

The poor and helpless ones trust in you, Lord, for you are famous for being the helper of the fatherless. // psalm 10:14 //

Summer evenings at the cabin.

I also shared many amazing summer things to do on Lake Champlain this past month (you can read them HERE). Y'all I admit... this is a different season... a quieter season right now and some of that has brought grief in a different way ... missing the days of old... grief is funny that way- it seems to sneak up on you in all different avenues. There have been tears sometimes... and I am realizing anew the way that the quiet is allowing me to heal. For all of you walking a healing journey my heart is with you.

What I've Been Up To...
A LOT of behind the scenes things for work, jobs, the shop and the blog. There are a lot of announcements coming up in the days, weeks, and months ahead and I look forward to sharing more.

A sneak peek of something exciting coming in just a few days...

What I'm Dreading...
Honestly absolutely nothing.

What I'm Working on...
In addition to the shops and editing, I am working on cleaning out and truly embracing more minimalism in so many different areas of life. It is a long process, but one that I have been truly working on recently and a focus this year.

What I'm Thankful for...
caravan sonnet
Amazing blessings from the Lord... in tiny ways- and in ways that we are trusting for, we continue to walk with faith... one moment at a time.

What I'm Excited About...

What I'm Watching/Reading...

I am working my way through this one again. I have said this almost at nauseum but there has not been a book that has impacted my faith more over the last 5 years then this book. I need to do an entire blog post on why, but for now, my tender heart will just say that if you are living in a season of broken dreams and spending lots of time weeping... this book is for you. You can find it HERE.

What I'm Listening To...

I shared this over the last year, but on my morning walks I have been listening to different sermons and a recent one I have listened to again and again from Joel Osteen was on Supernatural ProvisionIf you are looking for an encouraging and uplifting message during a difficult season, this message from Joel Osteen has been incredibly encouraging and I have listened to it on repeat this week!  You can find it HERE!

What I'm Doing This Weekend...

Y'all. This sound machine has been the answer to the lugging/packing/unpacking of a fan in many different places! Haha I am laughing as I remember the way that we even dragged a fan into the outback of Alaska and if only we had had this! haha!

I discovered this a few years ago and finally purchased one and it is AMAZING. Y'all. It is a perfect size for travel (it fits right into your carry on) and is incredibly light weight at 1.2 pounds. It is only 4.4 x4.4 x 2 inches wide and hide so it is the tiniest little thing, that is absolutely perfect. You can set it to a white noise type level or you can put it really high if you are wanting to have a very loud noise machine. There are 10 different fan noises and 10 different volumes to match so you have lots of choices!

There are nearly 30,000 positive reviews on this product and it is currently on sale for less than $40!!! Run and go purchase one now y'all! You won't regret it! Click HERE to purchase!
