Happy Tuesday friends! I am so excited to share more about our trip to Florida and our amazing cruise that we took in March! Today I am specifically excited to share about our quick and fun monorail ride after our breakfast at the Kona Cafe that is located at the Disney World's Polynesian Village Resort. If you missed my review of the Kona Cafe you can find it HERE!
Our ride on the monorail was a bit spontaneous. As we were coming out of the Kona Cafe I saw the signs for the monorail (on the second floor of the Polynesian Resort) and asked if everyone wanted to take a quick ride. Everyone agreed it would be fun to do and to see the Disney Grounds from a place (and height) that we hadn't seen in years! We walked out the doors and almost immediately there was a monorail that arrived!
We were having the most relaxing day before our boarding of our cruise the next day and still had time before our next adventure that day and so this was the perfect little experience to do!
I would highly recommend this for everyone of all ages- families with kids, or people like us who are kids at heart. We climbed aboard and Emily was thrilled it was a blue monorail. *smiles*
It was so fun to see the entire park from this monorail and all of the different hotels and resorts (including a new one that is being built)!
It was also so fun to see the Contemporary Resort from afar and remember our delicious dinner we had there last year. A fun surprise for my sister that I had planned was that we were having dinner at Chef Mickey's that night and she didn't know it so it was a fun little secret as we rode through the resort!
It was such a fun little ride around the property and a sweet little 20 minute adventure that I would recommend for anyone!
I can't wait to share more about our amazing trip in the next recap! If you are looking for all of the details of our trip you can find them HERE!
Happy Tuesday friends! I hope you have a wonderful day!
