Happy Friday and happy almost October friends! I hope that you have had a lovely and wonderful week! Also, can I just say- how have we come to the beginning of October?!? I am honestly shocked.
I know that I have said that literally every single month the last few months, but it just seems like time has been flying.
I am holding onto these last few days of early fall here in the north country tightly and begging the days to Please slow down. I always dread moving out of the cabin because it is my favorite place to be and this summer seemed sweeter than ever. I am excited to see all that the beautiful fall will hold.
This weekend in upstate New York we are supposed to have some warm weather and in between closing up the cabins, our plan is that we are going to try to soak up as many beautiful moments as we can this weekend. Wherever you are and whatever you are doing I hope and pray that you have a wonderful weekend.

2. The Expansion of Caravan Sonnet School
One of the MAJOR announcements of last month was announcing the opening of Caravan Sonnet School!!

3. The INCREDIBLE growth of the Caravan Sonnet Teachers Pay Teachers Shop
I mentioned this last month but over the summer I took a LOT of time and worked so hard on re-branding and updating the Caravan Sonnet Teachers Pay Teachers Shop and adding tons of new resources for the start of this school year and as this year continues!

6. Embracing Minimalism
I said this in my last Friday Favorites post, but it becomes increasingly true each day.
Moving back and forth from the bungalow to the cabins and back again at the beginning and end of the summer has had me really considering the items that I own. This fall, I have made it a priority to truly embrace minimalism in different ways in my life and I am working on cleaning out a lot of things. It is a long process, but one that I have been truly working on recently and a focus this summer and one that I plan to take into the fall.
It can be hard when you are walking through extreme grief as we did and also then doing cross country moves to do this... I plan to explore this more in blog posts, but this upcoming fall this is definitely a focus.
I am so excited to share just a few of my favorite and fun fall activities around the Lake Champlain area that should definitely be added to your bucket list if you are visiting- OR- to inspire you wherever you live!

8. This show.
I honestly still don't have words. I mentioned in the last post and am still processing.
I have to write a review but it was one of the most powerful things I have ever watched. If you haven't watched it yet, set aside the time and do so. It will inspire you to your core.
With Caravan Sonnet turning ten years old I thought it would be fun on Fridays to share some older posts from the blog! One of the things that Caravan Sonnet developed into was a a resource for those looking for road trip itineraries around the United States and World.
One of the most popular posts is one that I wrote back in 2017 about the one week New England, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia Itinerary that I planned and took starting on this date 6 years ago!
