Happy Friday and happy September friends! I hope that you have had a lovely and wonderful week! Also, can I just say- how have we come to the beginning of September?!? I am honestly shocked.
I am holding onto these last few days of summer here in the north country tightly and begging the days to Please slow down.
So many of my friends in the south and other parts of the country are already back to school. Up here in the northeast we still have a couple of days and the weather is finally supposed to be warm and hot and dry. Our plan is that we are going to try to soak up as many beautiful moments as we can this weekend. Wherever you are and whatever you are doing I hope and pray that you have a wonderful long weekend.
Here are some of my favorite things from this past week! First of all....

2. The opening of Caravan Sonnet School
One of the MAJOR announcements of the last two weeks has been announcing the opening of Caravan Sonnet School!!

3. The Release of Our FIRST Course at Caravan Sonnet School
The Digital Marketing Course was a HUGE part of the projects of launching our school and it it is AMAZING. This course changed my life and I am so excited to bring it to you!
4. The Re-branding and Updating of the Caravan Sonnet Teachers Pay Teachers Shop
I mentioned this last month but I also been working so hard on re-branding and updating the Caravan Sonnet Teachers Pay Teachers Shop and adding tons of new resources for the start of this school year and as this year continues!
Each and every single day a new colorful, creative, and educational resource is added to the shop!

This shop is filled with creative, colorful, and educational history, government, and personal finance items has been so lovely to work on.
I miss being in the classroom.
I really really really miss it.
It is literally an ache many times.

6. Embracing Minimalism
Moving back and forth from the bungalow to the cabins at the beginning and end of the summer has had me really considering the items that I own. This fall, I have made it a priority to truly embrace minimalism in different ways in my life and I am working on cleaning out a lot of things. It is a long process, but one that I have been truly working on recently and a focus this summer and one that I plan to take into the fall.
It can be hard when you are walking through extreme grief as we did and also then doing cross country moves to do this... I plan to explore this more in blog posts, but this upcoming fall this is definitely a focus.
7. This Book
I have been reading a ton of books here at the cabin and honestly... I am working my way through this one again. I have said this almost at nauseum but there has not been a book that has impacted my faith more over the last 5 years then this book. I need to do an entire blog post on why, but for now, my tender heart will just say that if you are living in a season of broken dreams and spending lots of time weeping... this book is for you. 8. This show.
I honestly still don't have words.
I have to write a review but it was one of the most powerful things I have ever watched. If you haven't watched it yet, set aside the time and do so. It will inspire you to your core.
