Happy Tuesday friends! Today I am excited to share about our stay at Inglewood Cottage in December! You may remember me sharing about the reel (you can watch it HERE!) that I created about our lovely stay (you can read a blog post about the reel HERE).
Our stay at Inglewood cottage was truly lovely.
Clarita and Ben (the owners of Inglewood Cottage) describe the cottage in the following way:
"Inspired by Old European design, this gives you a luxury stay in a sweet cottage. Tucked in a peaceful wooded coroner on our 20-acre 1700's farmstead, you can visit the animals, see the rhythm of our family farm life, and enjoy being in nature."
I can definitely attest to this! It did feel like we had stepped away and were staying in a sweet space in the European countryside even though we were less than 5 miles away from Lancaster.
An early morning walk confirmed this thought!
I loved the large American flag on their barn!
Beautiful morning views!
This beautiful space is approximately 20 minutes away from Amish country, which is where we spent most of our time!
We arrived in the early evening and it was the most lovely site that greeted us!
The next couple of mornings we spent time in different parts of this beautiful space and it was all lovely!
The adorable little porch with the table looked out onto the field of animals! I can imagine sitting here in the spring and summer and enjoying that view!
As you walk into the sweet little cozy cottage, you are immediately welcomed into a lovely space.
Clarita has such an eye for design and detail!
As you stand in the space between the kitchen and the living room, you can look out onto the porch!
One of our favorite things were the lights that were left on throughout the evening. It truly created a beautiful space and light that gently filtered into the cottage at night.Tiny snowflakes on the porch table *smiles*
The view (and the fire pit) off the porch looked so cozy!
There are two bedrooms in the 480 square foot cottage. Bedroom #1 (picture above) had a queen bed and overlooked the woods behind the cottage.
I stayed in this bedroom- bedroom #2 which held two twin beds. Nicknamed the "wildflower inn", it was a beautiful and lovely space for rest.
One of my favorite times of our stay was on the last night my mom and I curled up on this cozy sofa and watched a movie on the TV with the fireplace on below. It was such a cozy night and a refreshing space and time for our weary hearts.
This post was not sponsored, but Clarita and Ben did gift us this stay as an incredible gift for us after and during an incredible hard season. Thank you so much again for the lovely stay y'all. It was truly a beautiful gift!
