I am so excited to share that I am going to be a foster parent!!
If you know me well then you know that this has been a God given dream of mine since I was a very little girl and to see the doors opening at this season has just left me speechless! On Friday I committed to moving forward with starting training and to begin the official process! Over the summer I will be doing some of the initial steps and then will begin classes in September!
I am not naive at all to the heartbreak and brokenness that surrounds this process, but I believe very strongly in helping and loving on children, especially those in crisis. Over the last decade I have learned in incredible ways what love can do in the midst of the traumatic and messy brokenness in one's life. I hope to be a catalyst of this type of love to anyone who comes into my life, through my door and heart. My mama-to-be-heart is already anticipating all that God will do! Thank you so much for your excitement, your prayers, and your support in this journey!
