Happy Saturday friends! I hope that y'all had a lovely weekend! Today I am excited to continue recap my Alaskan Road Trip Adventures from 2019. As I have shared, I wanted to do this because I hope that it encourages you to consider taking a road trip of your own this summer to this beautiful part of the world!
Today I am excited to share about a beautiful evening walk that we did at the Seward Windsong Lodge Property when we stayed! (If you missed last weeks posts about my stay at the Seward Windsong Lodge you can click HERE to find out about the property and HERE to find out more about our room!) After our yummy and wonderful (and large *haha*) dinner at the Resurrection Roadhouse that I talked about yesterday (click HERE to read) Sue and I decided to take a walk on the property while Emily went back to the room to make a phone call.
It was such a beautiful evening and the sun was so bright and yet beginning to set as we walked. This was about 10pm and the warmth of the sun just added to the beauty that we were seeing.
Sue and I decided to head to the front of the property and then cross the road to go to see the river that was across the street. I am so glad that we did because it was so beautiful!
It should be noted as a disclaimer that there was a bridge with a sign that did encourage people not to cross. Basically Sue and I were rule breakers in this scenario. The views were worth it and I encourage everyone to go see the views. *smiles*
Sue and I stood and just admired the beauty that was surrounding us for the longest time. It was truly a beautiful evening walk and I hope that each of you will have the opportunity to see this area of Alaska. It was simply breathtaking.
A huge thank you to the Pursuit Collection and the Seward Windsong Lodge for the complimentary stay and experience to stay at this beautiful property. ALL opinions are my own.
