Homer Lighthouse // Homer, Alaska

October 15, 2018

Happy Monday friends! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend! Ours was busy as we officially moved out of the cabin (for the most part) for the winter and spring and now are in the process of unpacking everything.

Today on the blog I am excited to share with y'all pictures from this sweet lighthouse in Homer (at the beginning edge of Homer Spit). So... all I could find online was that it is referred to as, "Homer Lighthouse".

Honestly...it may have a proper name (and if you know it- please feel free to share with me!), but similar to my post on our lake adventure near Chickaloon... this was a bit of a mystery. I guess I will need to go back and visit again. *hahaha* But seriously as we were driving to Homer Spit from Bishop's Beach I saw this adorable lighthouse and it needed to be explored. *smiles*
The views from this location were stunning. We sat for a few minutes and just marveled at the incredible beauty that was before us. Isn't it amazing?
As I was trying to find out more information about this place, all I could find was that tons of people recommend stopping to see it because of the views. I would definitely agree. Absolutely incredible!
The lighthouse was not a "working" lighthouse, (there is a real working lighthouse on the Homer Spit) but worth the stop for the surrounding views.
Thank you so much for stopping by and reading this post today!

PS- If you are curious about the specific details of the road trip that we took throughout Alaska or if you are planning a similar road trip (or just want to see and dream about visiting the beauty!)
