Happy Wednesday y'all! I hope that you are having a wonderful week so far! Today I am looking for suggestions and ideas for an upcoming writing and blogging trip that I am taking in the next couple of months!
You may remember that I shared last August a post about why you should dream about visiting Alaska (re-shared here on the blog on Monday!). It is a dream that has been deeply ingrained in my heart for almost a decade and I am so excited that it is part of my work schedule this year.
Last summer on Instagram I shared a picture about the beginning planning stages and it is so exciting to see how all of the details are coming together. But this is where y'all come in! I always get the BEST ideas from this community and I would love to have any recommendations and suggestions for the trip.
This trip is going to be a road trip throughout Alaska and while it will be brief is going to be busy and so full! (I can't wait to go back and explore more in depth in the future - this is more of a "quick overview trip" *smiles*!) and will include places like Anchorage, Denali, Hatcher Pass, Fairbanks, Valdez, Seward, Girdwood, Whittier, and more.
Anyone have any ideas or recommendations? We would love tips for places to see along the way, eat (extra points for places that have gluten free menus!), and stay! Unique and one-of-a-kind experiences or places is a definitely plus!
Our time will be brief (obviously) but any tips and suggestions would be welcome y'all! Also - are there any particular travel books anyone would recommend? I have been using THIS ONE by Fodor's and THIS ONE by Moon (which has been AWESOME!)!
If you are a business that would like to collaborate on this project you can contact me with a proposal by sending an email HERE, or find out more about working with me on a travel collaboration HERE.
Thanks so much y'all! I can't wait to hear every one's fabulous ideas!

ReplyDeleteI am SO excited about it! It has definitely been more than a decade of dreaming about the trip and then a several year planning - so it is so exciting to be at this point! :) Thanks friend for sharing the excitement!!
