Happy Thursday friends! I am excited to spend the next couple of weeks sharing with y'all some recap posts from the girls trip that I took four years ago through New England, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia (along with some new posts from this time that I never shared also!)! I hope that it encourages you to consider taking a road trip (in part or in whole depending on your circumstances) this fall to these beautiful places in the world.

Happy Thursday friends! Today I am so excited to continue to share more about my recent trip through New England, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia!
I will say from the beginning that I loved Nova Scotia and am already planning a return trip. The land was gorgeous and felt that you had stepped into a completely different world and the places and things that we saw were just amazing.
We only had one day in Nova Scotia but we made the best out of it- and I loved every second. I truly can't wait to return. There is something that is so "wild and free" about this place on earth.
After our gorgeous sunrise ferry from Wood Islands, Prince Edward Island to Nova Scotia we started the drive down to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.
The drive from Pictou (where we disembarked from the ferry) to Yarmouth was slated to take about 6 and 1/2 hours according to google maps. We quickly realized that this would take a lot longer due to the roads that you are on. In total it took us almost 12 hours (which included our stops).
Honestly, it was one of the longest days of the trip for me as I was doing all of the driving but it turned out to be one of my absolute favorites. I was absolutely in awe of the amazing beauty that surrounded us and that I was driving through.
Throughout the drive I had a ton of time to think, pray, and really just enjoy the beauty that was before me. Nova Scotia quickly won my heart over.
I can't wait to share more about Nova Scotia throughout this next week. The places that we saw were absolutely stunning friends and I hope each of you has a chance to visit someday soon!
