This morning #courtneytheportney went to additional work as I added an additional IV med to the treatment protocol. This specific med will last about 16 weeks and is one that we have tried (unsuccessfully) to add in three times over the past year. This med, although it will bring many unpleasant and very difficult side effects, is a key for moving forward and is necessary.
In addition, as many of you are aware, I am still struggling with the infection that is causing lots of pain and issues which is making this treatment round #4 very rough (as I shared back a couple of weeks ago). I am holding tightly to the truth that despite my feelings, God is not surprised by any of this and is still at work. I would covet prayers for continued strength and grace to meet the days and weeks ahead. Thank you dear friends for all of your prayers and sweet love.
