Happy Tuesday y'all! A sweet friend of mine is going through a particularly difficult time and she loves the color pink. Using the stamps and lots of pink twine from The Twinery I created a "mini teapot album" filled with both of these two stamps, lots of pink, and lots of love. While I may be far away from her during this time and not able to see her I love that letters across the miles can encourage and mingle souls! I love the final product & hope that y'all enjoy these pictures!
I used four different colors of twine from The Twinery including the Gold Shimmer Twine, the Pretty Pink Blossom Twine, the Beautiful Bright Pink Sorbet, and the White & Pink Sorbet Twine. I used the solid colors to cover the teapots and loved how they turned out!
Inside the mini teapot book I used the two stamps and twine to create a fun and pretty mini book.
I also added seven mini envelopes with notes in them to my sweet friend. I used the twine to wrap up the envelopes so that they looked liked little presents which just looked more fun. *smiles*
And because today is Tuesday I had to take several pictures of the letter for today! *smiles*
Have I mentioned how much I love these stamps and twine?
Thanks so much for stopping by y'all!! Happy Tuesday!
Happy Saturday y'all! Welcome to all y'all who are hopping on over from Jeanne's Blog!!! If you haven't checked out her amazing (and creative blog!) y'all definitely should! Click HERE to check it out!
So today I am so excited to share with y'all this blog hop that is going on! Y'all know how much I love The Twinery because it is talked about so much here on the blog and all of the time on my instagram! Well today I am so excited to be apart of this blog hop that showcases using The Twinery products with Poppystamps!!
When we were offered the opportunity to review a product from Poppystamps I immediately fell in love with the attic key die cut. I have always loved keys and so this immediately caught my eye. When it arrived I started thinking of different things that I could use it for and decided to trace it onto a piece of fabric and highlight in a bunting with a quote. I used the charcoal twine and the charcoal striped twine to give a "frame" to the three pieces of fabric and also used the charcoal twine to outline the attic key. I chose to use the saying "hardwork is the key to success" not only because a new school year seems to be fast approaching (where in the world has the summer gone?!?) but because that is my motto right now in fighting Lyme Disease and Cancer and with my Etsy shop. I know many people use these products to create AMAZING cards but I love how you can use both of these companies products in so many different ways! I love the final product and hope that y'all enjoy these pictures!

Happy Saturday y'all!
Every month around this time I write about the Parcel Post Tribe. I think because it is one of my favorite things that I do (creatively) it is so easy to express my love for this program and membership that I created and it is the only thing like it around! With a membership you receive 2 cards each month (with the CORRECT POSTAGE!!), a small gift, and a 10 % off coupon to December Caravan!! And the cost is incredibly low!! Most cards in a store are $4.00-$7.00 each and this doesn't even count the postage. For almost the price of ONE card you receive two and so much more!! PLUS all of the cards that you receive are custom made specifically for the Parcel Post Tribe and will not be seen in my etsy shop until at least a year after you receive them! Finally ALL of the proceeds go to help me pay for medical treatment and medical bills PLUS a portion of each order goes to support charity!!!
This membership would also make a wonderful gift for a special occasion like a wedding, birthday, or moving gift or could simply be the perfect present for someone to let them know that you are thinking about them. Want to sign up?? Click HERE to read all of the details and to sign up today!!
I wanted to share with you a couple of pictures from the June Parcel Post Tribe membership. I like to wait to share pictures of the cards for a couple of months because I love for the cards to be a surprise and also for the cards to be a surprise for the people receiving them!
For June, members received a 4th of July card and a wedding card! I quickly fell in love with both of these cards for the month! Enjoy the pictures!

I am constantly overwhelmed by the kindness and the support of so many people in this journey. While many times illness can be an isolating circumstance I have found that those times have been so rare in my journey because of the love of dear friends and the body of Christ that comes to support me and my family. One of those lovely people is Caroline, the sweet and encouraging blogger behind In Due Time. With absolutely no gain to herself Caroline has behind the scenes quietly and lovingly encouraged me for the past year. She has faithfully read my blog and commented with beautiful "life" words, has prayed countless prayers on my behalf, has cried with me through some very difficult and dark nights, and has showed me the love of Christ in a thousand different ways. Caroline loves practically and sacrificially and has financially supported me numerous times throughout this journey. In addition to that Caroline actually went and ran Rebecca's Run back in October 2013! When I got her message I promptly burst into tears that she gave up a Saturday to do that for me. She is absolutely wonderful. I was blown away and so humbled when she offered to donate her commission and host a Stella & Dot Trunk Show party for me to help raise money for treatment. Honestly I kind of resisted at first because being sick and needing fiances is highly emotional. Caroline immediately responded that "this is what the body of Christ is for". Yes, I again broke down in tears.
I am so grateful to you Caroline for your sweet support, your numerous prayers, and your kindness in getting involved in my life and walking this journey with me. I am so honored to call you a friend!
If you would like to join in on the fundraiser you can click HERE!! Could you help us get the word out and spread the word via social media? Thank you so much! You can invite people to join in the Facebook group (it is open to all!) which will share information by clicking HERE! Most of all I am extremely grateful for your continued prayers, your sweet friendships, and your love in this journey. Thank you so much friend!
Two weeks ago (while my sister was visiting) we were blessed with a simply beautiful evening. I was so thankful to be feeling well enough to go out in the boat and the views were just simply gorgeous. I am absolutely in awe of the beauty that surrounds this area that I love so much. Truly the verse, "The Earth is full of the beauty of the Lord" is so true! Enjoy the pictures!
Happy Friday y'all!!
In addition to the Lyle, Lyle Crocodile Storybook bunting that went into the shop this past week I also have added a few additional items that I wanted to share with y'all! (Some of you have asked when new items go into the shop. The answer is: every Monday morning! Since December Caravan's mission is to inspire hope & joy in every part of people's lives through handmade creations I figure there is no better time than on Monday mornings! *smiles*) Here are some of the other items that I listed this past Monday:
I have long loved the quote: "All I need today is a little bit of coffee and a whole lot of Jesus" and it always brings a smile to my face when I read it. This artwork quote is written on vintage hymn sheet music and measures approximately 8 x 9 1/4. All embellishments on the vintage sheet music are acid free. This piece is backed by simple acid free chipboard. This piece also features vintage quilting material and I have hand cut it into a shape of a heart and hand stitched the word "Jesus" onto it. The heart sits on a pocket that is filled with five verses (seen in the pictures above) that are a daily source of encouragement for anyone. This piece could be framed or displayed in a variety of ways. It could be used for decoration at an event or it could be used in a home, apartment, or in a college dorm room. This piece would also make an excellent gift! If you are interested in purchasing this item you can click HERE to go directly to my shop!
This ancient hymn, "Jesus, I am resting, resting" has been a source of great comfort throughout these many years fighting advanced late stage Lyme Disease and Cancer. The words of this song have been a quiet prayer that I have cried through and gained strength from during some long dark days and nights. Each vintage hymn artwork piece is displayed on vintage sheet music and quotes part of a ancient hymn. All embellishments on the vintage sheet music are acid free. Each vintage hymn artwork piece is backed by simple acid free chipboard. This quote measures 8 1/2 x 11 and could be framed or displayed in a variety of ways. It could be used for decoration at an event or it could be used in a home, apartment, or in a college dorm room. Know a friend who is struggling with illness or a difficult time in their life? This could simply be sent to a friend as an encouragement. If you are interested in purchasing this item you can click HERE to go directly to my shop!
This quote from Joni Eareckson Tada has proven to be a huge comfort to me in this journey and fight against Advanced Lyme Disease and Cancer. I have often looked at it and been inspired to remember that there is a plan larger than the "walls of sickness". Each artwork quote is handwritten on acid-free scrapbook paper and is backed by simple acid free chipboard.
This ancient hymn, "Be Still My Soul" has been a favorite of mine since I was a small child. As an adult and fighting two serious diseases (Advanced Late Stage Lyme Disease and Cancer) the words of this song written so many years ago have been a quiet prayer that I have cried through and gained strength from during some long dark days and nights. Each vintage hymn artwork piece is displayed on vintage sheet music and quotes part of a ancient hymn. All embellishments on the vintage sheet music are acid free.
