two more weeks

I wanted to say a thank you to ALL of you that left a comment or emailed me after Friday's Post. I was overwhelmed with the lovely comments and heartfelt emails from y'all. I am extremely blessed. As I work through responding to each comment and email please know that I cherished each note that you spent time on and sent to me. Thank you!

It is hard to believe that it is not spring yet here in Tennessee. The weather was warm, sunny and beautiful the last couple of days and even provided the opportunity to sit out on the porch to enjoy a meal and sip on sweet tea. (Confession: this southern gal doesn't like sweet tea. Yes, I can hear the comments now *smiles*) The spring beauty is starting to reveal itself and while there are not tons of flowers that have sprung yet there is a beautiful daffidol that has withstood some chilly days to share with us its bright yellow admist the winter brown.

Its hard to believe that in just a couple of weeks I will be up in warm chilly upstate New York for Spring Break and as thrilled as I am about the warm weather of Tennessee my heart is T.H.R.I.L.L.E.D to be going "home". The beauty of this place calls to me again. I have been going through and spring cleaning my possessions and came across these pictures from a ferry trip at Christmas time. The minute I saw them I was even more excited!
